Viktoria Dalko is an award?winning professor with over 30 years of international academic experience whose recent work lies at the intersection of philosophy of science, life sciences, and medicine. My current research develops theoretical frameworks for understanding qi?based phenomena within a rigorous scientific?methodological and evidence?based paradigm. I bring to integrative and alternative medicine a qi-based scientific paradigm and qualitative/quantitative research design, aiming to clarify the ontological and epistemological status of biofield and qi?based therapies; integrate Eastern and Western conceptions of health into coherent research programs; and develop scientific methodologies suitable for subtle, non?local, and systemic health effects.
